Holy Bodies is a photography series exploring the solidarity between female and natural bodies both of which are often objectified for patriarchal and capitalistic needs.

In many mythos, female bodies find refuge from the patriarchy by melting into nature from Daphne who turned into a tree to escape Apollo’s rape and Sita returning back to the soil after being deserted by Rama.

This series seeks to capture the peace and the safety of cosmic smallness that nature provides for the female body, here she is no longer asked to be anything than alive, in nature’s arms, she is already holy and precious.
